Michele Fletcher’s paintings explore growth, transformation, and material instability through fluid, process-driven methods. Developed wet-into-wet within a single sustained duration, her works generate seamless yet unstable forms that hover between the organic and the synthetic. Fletcher constructs visual ecologies in which gesture, colour, and material enact processes of emergence, compression, and dissolution. These paintings function as dynamic fields where structure and disruption remain in tension.

Michele Fletcher (Ontario, Canada), lives and works in London. She received her BA (Hons) in Fine Art & Critical Theory from Goldsmiths College and her MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art and Design. Recent solo exhibitions include Nicelle Beauchene, New York (2026), White Cube, Hong Kong (2025) and Onitsuka Tiger, Tiger Gallery London (2023). Recent group exhibitions include Nicelle Beauchene Gallery, New York (2025); Whitechapel Gallery, London (2025); Patricia Fleming Gallery, Glasgow, Scotland (2024); Kutlesa Gallery (2024); Harper’s Books, New York (2023); and Fredericks & Freiser, New York (2023) Her works are held in public collections including the EY Collection, UK; Isaac Newton Institute, University of Cambridge, UK; and University of the Arts, London and various private collections.
